The Bowers Museum seeks an army of volunteers to help make the visitor experience enjoyable at the highly anticipated exhibition, Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China’s First Emperor. Volunteers are needed to welcome visitors, answer general questions, distribute audio tours, and serve as museum ambassadors. As a special thanks for getting involved with the museum, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant in Santa Ana will graciously host a welcome luncheon and orientation for all exhibition volunteers during National Volunteer Week (April 27 – May 3, 2008). Several shifts are available during the week and weekends. Volunteers are especially needed on weekend mornings or afternoons to serve as the museum’s “weekend warriors”. A commitment of only four hours per month is required to get involved.
To become a volunteer, contact Ernesto Diaz, Visitor Services Supervisor, at 714.567.3695 or ediaz@bowers.org.
